Pavel Brenner

Pavel Brenner is a Russian-born, Los Angeles-based director and cinematographer whose work brings together precise composition, cinematic atmosphere and meticulously crafted worlds. With a multidisciplinary background spanning graphic design, advertising, cinematography and directing, Pavel creates films that blend movement, choreography and narrative into distinctive visual experiences.

His directing career began with Acid Rain, a single-take film for Lorn that became an international viral success, winning a UK Music Video Award and screening at SXSW and Milano Film Festival. Since then, his work has spanned commercials, music videos and fashion films for brands and artists including Alexander Wang, Brodinski, Yumi Zouma and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. His work has been featured in NOWNESS, The Fader, Billboard and Rolling Stone, and recognised by the UK Music Video Awards, Berlin Commercial and international fashion film festivals. Pavel continues to explore the space between image, movement and narrative, creating films that build worlds and leave a lasting impression beyond the frame.
