Often blending comedy with rhythm and movement, Ryan’s spots pair kinetic energy with precise, artful design. A two-time Cannes Young Director Award nominee, Ryan’s films and commercials have earned Clio, D&AD, Effie, and ADC honors, and screened at festivals including Cannes Lions, SXSW, Vimeo Staff Picks, the Berlin Music Video Awards, and CLIPPED. Ryan’s narrative short Gremlins: Recall, a reboot of the ’80s classic, gained widespread attention after being featured by Short of the Week, Slashfilm, CNET, Vice, Bloody Disgusting, and Booooooom, among others. When not directing, Ryan can be found running, sampling new beers, or selling hats commemorating his favorite meeting: the pre-ppm.
