When can we book a site visit at Park Village?

Viewings are dependent on studio availability, but we will do our best to accommodate, with full viewings possible when the studios are empty or restricted viewings where the studios are occupied.

How long can we provisionally hold a date?

We can provisionally hold dates until another client ‘challenges’ the date in question. This means another client signing a challenge agreement which would then give you 24 hours to either confirm or release the date. When holding a date, we will inform you whether you are the 1st option or 2nd option on that date. We operate a first-come, first-served policy with regards to putting any pencils on dates. Please note that private events can only be booked 1 year in advance.

What deposit do we have to pay when we confirm a date?

To secure your booking we require a signed Venue Hire Agreement and a payment of 50% of the dry-hire charge. The dry-hire balance is payable 14 days before the event date, together with a returnable damage deposit. Any additional charges (e.g. security) will be invoiced post-event on standard 30-day terms.

Do we have to pay a venue damage deposit?

Yes, all event bookings at Park Village are required to pay a refundable damage deposit of between £1,000 and £2,000 depending on the duration and nature of the event. This will be returned within 5 working days after your event. If there is any damage to the venue, this will be discussed with you before deducting from the damage deposit.

What are the timings of events at Park Village?

Event Days 8am – 6pm or 8am – 11pm Build/Strike Days 8am – 8pm Sunday Strike Day (included in Saturday Exclusive Hire charge) 10am – 2pm Events must finish by 11pm, with all guests to have left the building by 11.15pm.  An internal de-rig is allowed until midnight. Any external loading/unloading is not permitted before 8am or after 9pm without express permission, due to the residential nature of the street. A de-rig/strike day for larger events will be required.

What else is required with my venue booking?

All events at Park Village must have Public Liability Insurance and SIA security. The average cost for public liability insurance around £100, subject to event duration, the number of guests attending and your insurer. Documentation for the insurance together with RAMS, final guest numbers, full event schedule with timings and a breakdown of what you plan to set up in each room must be provided at least 14 days before your event date.

SIA security is required for all live events at Park Village and will be booked directly by Park Village. The number of guards required depends on the type of event and guest numbers. One security guard will need to be on site 30 minutes before guests arrive and 30 minutes after guests leave.
