Case Study: Little Black Book “Better Together” Conference

Events held at Park Village are born from collaboration, innovation, and attention to detail. When Little Black Book (LBB Online) entrusted us to host their flagship conference, “Better Together,” we delivered a transformative experience.

Held in October 2024, the event welcomed 200 of London’s top marketers, creatives, agencies, and production professionals for thought-provoking panels and unparalleled networking opportunities.

The Challenge: A Vision of Connection and Creativity

LBB’s goal was to craft an intimate, high-impact event that matched their status as a platform for celebrating creativity and innovation in advertising. They required a venue that could seamlessly accommodate both formal and informal moments with an effortless flow for 200 attendees.

Key needs from our client:

  • Exclusive Use of the Venue: Spaces had to align with the conference’s networking aims:
    • Reception Area: A welcoming registration and greeting point.
    • The Arena: The central hub for panel discussions, requiring seating for 200 and high-tech AV.
    • The Stalls and The Stables: Flexible spaces for breakout sessions, refreshments, networking and activations.
  • Uncompromising Quality: From branding and AV to catering and guest logistics, every touchpoint needed to reflect LBB’s creative ethos.

Our Approach: A Venue as Dynamic as the Event Itself

From the initial planning stages, we became an extension of LBB’s team, working together to ensure every detail contributed to the conference’s success. The versatility of Park Village’s spaces allowed us to craft a tailored experience:

  • The Arena: The venue’s infinity cove became the heart of the event. Branded with vibrant custom vinyl and brought to life with dynamic event lighting, this space set the tone for impactful discussions.
  • Reception Area: Delegates were greeted by a seamless check-in process, supported by a wristband system for easy session management.
  • The Stalls and The Stables: These breakout spaces were styled for comfort, and branded with interactive activations to offer refreshing pauses between sessions.

Through close collaboration with LBB and trusted suppliers, every element was executed with precision, this included flawless audiovisual experiences, vibrant lunch offerings and post-event cocktails, striking signage and smooth transitions.

  • AV and Lighting: Partnering with Positive Fokus, High-quality sound and visuals.
  • Catering: Cater London delivered a bespoke menu of drinks, canapés, and refreshments designed specifically for the client.
  • Branding and Signage: Sabre Graphics used the infinity cove and branded this with LBB’s visuals to create a focal point.
  • Guest Flow: Logistics experts from Gallowglass maintained a steady energy during and between sessions.

The "Better Together" conference was about connecting. From the breakout sessions to the evening networking reception. Park Village helped LBB plan this large scale event in the allotted timeframe, which required clear communication and swift decision-making. The smooth guest flow of 200 attendees, split across different sessions and spaces, was planned and managed effectively with the use of a simple wristband system and clear signage.
