Case Study: “Move for Your Mind” Wellness Event at Park Village

At Park Village, we thrive on hosting events that inspire. Early in 2024, we welcomed iWeigh x Jameela Jamil for their flagship wellness event, “Move for Your Mind”, a day that celebrated the intersection of mental health, community, and fitness.

Designed to show attendees the positive effects of movement on mental well-being, the event brought together 150 guests for an immersive experience of panel discussions, movement sessions, and networking.

Two people smile and pose with reusable bottles in front of a promotional backdrop reading Move for Your Mind. A ring light is set up in the foreground. The setting appears casual and indoors.
Four panelists seated in front of a pink backdrop with Move for Your Mind written on it. One person is in a wheelchair, and one is holding a microphone. All appear engaged in discussion.
A large group of people, including those in wheelchairs, participate in a dance class in a spacious hall with vibrant lighting. Participants are following an instructor, with colorful light patterns on the walls creating a lively atmosphere.
A group of people with eyes closed and hands on their chests stand together in a softly lit room with purple light. Multicolored spots illuminate the walls, creating a calm and meditative atmosphere.

The Brief: Wellness Reimagined

The iWeigh team envisioned an event where fitness was not just a physical activity but a shared, joyful experience. Sponsored by Asics, the day needed to balance insightful discussions with engaging movement sessions.

Key points for our client:

  • Celebrating Community: An impressive lineup of hosts and speakers, including Jameela Jamil, Megan Jayne Crabbe, Sofie Hagen, Tally Rye, and Joelle D’Fontaine.
  • Showcasing Brand Identity: iWeigh’s signature colors and branding had to permeate throughout the studios.
  • Optimising the Space: Park Village had to accommodate a dynamic schedule, from seated panel discussions to energetic group workouts and breakout sessions.

A large group of women standing on a pink floor, facing forward. They are in a spacious room with a balcony and a bright pink wall. The women are diverse in appearance and clothing styles, creating a lively and vibrant atmosphere.
A person with long, dark hair is sitting and speaking into a microphone at an event. They are wearing a black shirt and are sitting in front of a colorful background with partially visible text.

Our Solution: A Space Tailored for Movement

From the very first consultation, our team worked closely with iWeigh, Kitu Design, and inSync Events to ensure every detail reflected the client’s ethos. We transformed the venue into a vibrant hub of wellness and community.

  • The Arena: A dynamic multi-use space. Our infinity cove was painted entirely pink to match iWeigh’s brand colors. White benches provided seating for panel discussions and were seamlessly cleared for movement sessions.
  • The Reception Area: Guests were greeted with a branded step-and-repeat wall for photographs.
  • The Stalls: This breakout space was used for networking and refreshments, with vibrant lighting and additional branding elements.

The event’s success was driven by close collaboration with our trusted partners:

  • AV and Staging: Positive Fokus delivered flawless sound and visuals for panel discussions and high-energy movement sessions.
  • Custom Venue Styling: The bold pink infinity cove and additional vinyl branding elements created a cohesive visual across all spaces.
  • Seamless Logistics: Our team ensured the day’s transitions from seated discussions to group workouts with smooth.

The event’s agenda was designed to keep guests engaged throughout the day. Panel discussions were hosted by Jameela Jamil and explored the link between fitness and mental health, sparking interesting dialogue among attendees. The movement sessions included yoga and dance, and these were led by experts Joelle D’Fontaine and Tally Rye. The flexibility of The Arena ensured these sessions were both immersive and interactive, in contrast to the breakout sessions in The Stalls, which provided opportunities for guests to connect over refreshments and snacks.
